​RICH'S STORY:
When I was growing up, I began helping my dad (a master diesel mechanic), fix and repair things. He was a very patient teacher and I learned a lot from him. His favorite saying

was, "Why throw it away if it can be repaired?" As a youngster I would repair old bicycles and then resell them, and eventually I moved on to lawn mowers and cars.

When I was in high school I took a 2 year machine shop class at a local vocational school. After that I got a full time job working in a machine shop where I spent the next 30

years working in various shops, doing all different kinds of machine work and repairs on all kinds of equipment. In the evenings and on weekends, I would always have some kind

of repair project going on for myself or to make some extra money!

I had always dreamed of opening my own business and in 2008, one thing led to another, and we bought a local factory's machine shop, several forklifts and some industrial

production equipment.

So it took off! In 2009 we bought our current 12,000 sqft. warehouse at 1228 Quality Choice Place in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

I now bring in equipment from all over. We either do repairs or a complete refurbishment, and then put them back out for resale. This is the best form of recycling there is!

I believe that "Why buy new, if you can buy used!" is a great way for businesses to save money in today's economy. Don't you?
